31 Day Novena to St. Joseph - Reflections and Meditations

This novena is based on the powerful, beautiful, indulgenced, and efficacious Litany of St. Joseph.  The novena need not be said on 31 consecutive days but it is recommended that it be completed in no more than 40 days, in honor of the fasting of Jesus, the Son of Joseph.

For 31 days, an intention for yourself or for someone else should be thought of every day during the novena.  If your petition is expeditiously granted (and in God's time it will be if it is for the good of souls) it is recommended that another 31 day novena be said in thanksgiving.

Devotion to St. Joseph is one of the choicest graces that God can give to a soul, for it is tantamount to revealing the entire treasury of our Lord's graces.  When God wishes to raise a soul to greater heights, he unites it to St. Joseph by giving it a strong love for the good saint.
