Pope Benedict traces the Father through the Old and New Testaments, explaining God the Father's relationship to Jesus and to us. (I especially like the chapter on the "Our Father.")  My brief description here of what this book is about is only a small portion of the contents. There is so much more. This is not a book that will be read quickly, because of its depth. The thought-provoking words and ideas of Jesus of Nazareth are truly profound. Many times I had to put the book down to ponder the incredible insights I had just read. I consider this a great work of literature by Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI. I think you will too.
