The Extraordinary Parents of St. Thérèse of Lisieux

By Helene Mongin.  It seems like yesterday when Father Chuck Gallagher, SJ, told us during a talk, “We have to pray that the Church will soon canonize a married couple, not just for their individual goodness, but for how they lived out their Sacrament of Matrimony.“ Larry and I said many prayers together for this to happen and it did, in October of 2015: Louis and Zelie Martin were canonized, as a couple. Of their nine children, only five survived (imagine the pain of losing four of your children) and those five all became nuns. One daughter became perhaps the most popular saint of modern times. However, this book is not about her. It’s about a couple. The wife works, the husband works, their Catholic faith is first and foremost in their lives. Oh my, what a wonderful book it is!  Softcover, 159 pages.
