Saint Johns Abbey in Minnesota, founded by Bavarian Benedictine monks in the nineteenth century, has become a spiritual center focused on prayer, scholarship, and the liturgy.

The Gregorian Chant Schola of Saint Johns Abbey presents in this recording selections from the Graduale Romanum and Graduale Simplex for Mass, and the Antiphonale Monasticum and Liber Hymnarius for the Divine Office, that honor Our Lady and her divine Son.  It comes with extensive liner notes, and English translation of Latin chants.
