
Our Lady of Lourdes
In 1858, at the Grotto of Massabielle, the Virgin Mary first showed herself to Bernadette Soubirous. Under the title "the Immaculate Conception," she called for penance and prayer for the conversion of sinners. On Dec 8, 1933 Bernadette was canonized a saint by Pope Pius X on the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. Beautiful statue of Our Lady of Lourdes with Bernadette cast in a stone and resin mix created by the artisan's of Joseph's Studio. Part of their Renaissance Collection.
