St. Joseph the Worker
“Saint Joseph is a man of great spirit. He is great in faith, not because he speaks his own words, but above all because he listens to the words of the Living God. He listens in silence. And his heart ceaselessly perseveres in the readiness to accept the Truth contained in the Word of the Living God,” - St. John Paul II
St. Joseph was the husband of the Virgin Mary and adoptive father of Jesus. He was a humble carpenter of ancient and royal lineage who obeyed God's wishes. Pope Pius XII declared St. Joseph the Worker the patron of the Universal Church with his feast day on May 1.
This beautiful statue of St. Joseph the Worker is cast in a stone and resin mix and meticulously hand painted with rich coloring and detail by the skilled artisans of Joseph's Studio. Part of their Renaissance Collection.
