The Story of Sister Adele and Mary's Apparition in Wisconsin
By Edward Looney. On December 8, 2010, the feast of the Immaculate Conception, the Bishop of Green Bay, Wisconsin, announced the approval of the apparition of Mary, the Queen of Heaven, under the title of "Our Lady of Good Help." This became the first approved Marian apparition in the United States. Sister Adele Brise, a Belgian immigrant, was 28 years old when the Blessed Mother appeared to her three times in Champion (then called Robinsonville), Wisconsin, in early October of 1859. Our Lady was dressed all in white, with a yellow sash around her waist, and with a crown of stars around her head. She told Adele she was the Queen of Heaven and gave her a teaching mission with the children in the area. This is Adele's story of how she fulfilled the Blessed Mother's request. The story is told simply, just like Adele, and is illustrated with the most vibrant, colorful pictures. Share this story with your family, especially your children, so they can understand the love that the Blessed Mother has for each one of us. Softcover, 25 pages.
