They Shall Bear You Up

We told the story (in the Spring 2005 issue of Medjugorje Magazine), of how Monsignor Harte fulfilled his dream of building Mary, Queen of the Universe Shrine in Orlando, Florida. Well, we thought we wrote the story. This book tells his life, which includes the incredible saga of the Shrine (now raised to the status of a minor basilica), and we learned we did only a thumb-nail sketch before. However, the part of this book I loved best was the story of Monsignor's childhood in Ireland. His writing skills take you by the hand and you enter that small kitchen and sit with him at the table . His father rode his bicycle to work each day, five miles there and five miles back, always holding the rosary in his hands and saying it. His mother was also deeply committed to the rosary. Monsignor's life, committed to doing God's Will, is a testimony to the wonders of our God, through one human being. Softcover, 354 pages.
