Travelers Along The Way - The Men and Women Who Shaped My Life
By Benedict J. Groeschel. This is one of those books you can pick up and read every night before sleeping. You can read one or two short chapters and then turn out the light. Or, you can keep saying, "Well, maybe one more." It's that good. The known and the unknown had shaped Father Groeschel's life and he was a good story teller. I had heard him speak often of Cardinal Terence Cooke and Cardinal John O'Connor, and it was great to finally read why he admired them so much. As you read, think back over your own life and write down those who made you who you are today. Then tell your kids and grandkids about them. Ask yourself, "Will they share me one day as having shaped their life for the better? If not, why not, and what can I do to change that?" I loved this book. Softcover, 159 pages.
